Kompsat 3/3А

KOMPSAT-3 and KOMPSAT-3A are a continuation of the Korean Multi-Purpose Satellite mission of Korean Earth observation satellites KOMPSAT. They are almost identical in their technical characteristics (KOMPSAT-3A spacecraft has a higher spatial resolution) and are designed to obtain digital images of the earth’s surface in panchromatic and multispectral modes.

Briefly about the main thing

KOMPSAT-2 and KOMPSAT-3 satellites are designed to obtain data from remote sensing of the Earth at ultra-high resolution. The data is disseminated by KOMPSAT (Korean Multi-Purpose Satellite).
